Matthew Way translates scripts and subtitles movies from German and Spanish to English. In 2009, he worked at the Oscar®-nominated movies „Auf der Strecke“ and “Walz with Bashir” and translated and subtitled completely the two times winner of the Berlinale Festival “Alle Anderen” by Maren Ade.

At last, he translated almost 15 hours of the documentary film “24hBerlin”.

In the last eight month, Matthew Way translated the following scripts: Maren Ade's "Alle Anderen"*, Jan Georg Schütte's "Swinger Club" and Tuki Jencquel's "Genios Nunca Mueren".

In co-operation with free lancers, he translated an art book for Annette Merrild from Spanish, Catalan, Frensh and German to English.

Matthew Way participated in the translation of over 100 films from more than 20 different countries (archive). More than 25 films of them are longer than 90 minutes.

He subtitled films of Wüste Filmproduktion, Egoli Tossell, Corazon International, die Thede, Abbildungszentrum, Klosterfelde Galerie, of the HfbK and Hamburg Media School and a lot more plus texts and films of Prof. Dr. Peter Sloterdijk, Hermann Schmitz and John Bock.
